So I just picked up my first spotter, Kowa TSN-773 and have a tinesup adapter coming for my iPhone 7 Plus. I have never taken pics via a spotter and am looking for any advice or tips from you seasoned veterans. One question is how do you take the pic without touching the phone as I would think...
Update...so I chose to go with the Kowa TSN-773 and so far all I can say is WOW! This spotter is amazing. Initial impressions is that it is crystal clear and sharp as a tack. Big shout out to Doug at Camera Land on another great deal and recommendation.
There is a good chance it will get used for hunting as well. At the time it will pull more duties at the range but I want to have a good one should it get called for hunting duties. At the least it will be used looking for game in larger fields.
I’m in the market for a spotting scope. For the most part it will be used at the range and rarely put in the pack so size/weight are not a huge concern at this time but I want to make sure I keep it in check. I want to keep this a buy once cry once situation and be happy with my purchase for...
As others have mentioned give Doug a call at Camera Land and mention you are a member here. He’s very knowledgeable and has good pricing. With that said I have been very pleased with Meoptas.
I would like to get the barrel threaded on my new Tikka T3x 300 WM for a muzzle break and a possible suppressor later on. This will be my first time having a gunsmith thread a barrel. Just in case and for my lack of knowledge on the subject what are some things I need to look for or ask them to...
Thanks Pootros. I will check out the calculator and see what it says. Curious now to see how field data will compare to the data the calculator spits out.
So I just purchased a new Tikka T3x in 300 WM. I have started shooting with a few different factory loads to see which one it prefers. My question, if the rifle shoots one particular brand well at 100yds does that mean it will still shoot well at say 400 yds? Is it possible that the bullet...
Don’t count out Meopta’s. I just got a pair of Meopta ‘Meostar B1 10x42 HD off Camera Land at a great price. To me they are comparable to slc’s at a fraction of the cost. They may not exactly be Swarovski level quality but they are very close. I live and hunt on the East coast and don’t see 10x...
