    The very first pack cover I found online from eberlstock was only 4oz, but not sure on the sizing. A few options for UL pack covers in MC and Alpine that fit your packs well would be a nice compliment to these packs. For me, the charcoal actually works perfect for SAR work, our uniforms...

    I prefer unlined soft shells. And for that I went with a HPG windcheater + some extra DWR.

    If you are building ultralight hunting packs, it makes sense they would start to look similar to actual UL packs. Use the weight savings for a MC pack cover, and get an alpine MC pack cover for the snow. More versatility and will protect the pack and contents strapped to the outside better...

    Favorite/best headlamp?

    Nitecore SU25 weights about an oz. Good when you don’t plan on using it a lot. On a night SAR mission or tracking I would prefer an 18650 Armytek in “warm”. Lots of useable light.

    Wait is this a thing? Do you cook the hot dog and then grind it or vice-Versa? Crispy ground hot dog sounds delicious. A question for Mr. Here; If my wife starts encouraging me to hunt more, is it because she likes the taste of fresh meat or because she found a boy friend?

    Just to toss another option out there. My doctor recommended a counter-strain PT therapist, and that guy is a damn magician. PT can’t usually immediatly fix some issues, but the first time I saw him he bent my leg over my head and jammed his thumb in my back and the pain disappeared instantly...

    Looking to sell my lightly used Flight 2 w/22” frame and size 1 belt. Too short for my freakishly long torso. I have a molle ebelrstock belt I would include as well if wanted. Pictures 2.4 lb pack with an aluminum frame that can comfortably haul 50 pounds.
