    Appreciate all the feedback. Still unsure of what to do, but the Browning and Kimber reviews have sent me down that rabbit hole. I’m curious as to how those Ruger Americans tend to shoot OOTB. If they are decent - seem to be a great value.

    Teaching kids to shoot.

    Having the same issue with my 6 year old son and getting him to learn iron sights on the BB gun. Is there a decent video or drawing that anyone has found that helps teach kids how to line them up? I’ve tried talking him thru it several times but it just doesn’t seem to register

    Illuminated Scope or No?

    Echoing most here - I love an illuminated reticle and always try to buy the model of scope that has it. Also worth mentioning for FFP scopes, it tends to help me see the reticle better on low magnification (when the reticle is super small).
