I took a nanny two years ago on a nanny-only tag in CO. Our genetics produce some huge Nannies and taking them is necessary for herd health. I guess it's all dependent on the area you're hunting. It was an amazing hunt and now that proud goat is displayed in my home. And it tasted great. I...
This is where it's at. If you buy quality gear you most won't have to upgrade ever or if you do it will be because of a freak accident or 10 years later. For example, my WM down bag will last until the time I get too close to the fire (again), and my kifaru pack will only need to be upgraded...
I'm with JD on this. By far the most bomber rest I've ever used. The adjustability is almost infinite so if you're a tuning geek -- like just about everyone on this site is -- you can really play with it until you get exactly the arrow flight you're looking for. It also comes with some great...

Set the arrow in the jig and then place the clamp in place with a vane. Loosen the adjustment screws and slowly adjust until you get solid contact along the entire vane. Tighten it down and you'll be good to go. I started with straight and went helical and get perfect arrows after adjusting.
Had to go with the deep groove launcher due to fetching contact. LOVE my versarest. I also use the arrow clip in the front of the rest and the little rubber rest on the back to minimize noise. Best rest I've ever had.
I found the number one criteria for me is the use glue with a good cap that has the pin poker on the inside to keep the tip from getting clogged. Gold Tip has this so I stopped looking there. Also tried Goat Tuff and was not impressed.
Well, I fell for it and called up Kuiu to make sure my stuff didn't get lost. They explained that there was one half day where they had a computer glitch and everything was backed up on paper and assured me no orders were "lost". So all is good. No need to call in. Unless you want to.
