Stryker vs 22 Mag

Accessories questions - Ma Deuce / 44 Mag

The Guide lid and belt pouches are the most valuable accessories I have purchased for my packs (T1, Reckoning and a Stryker which I will receive on Monday). I use a grab it on the T1 for hauling a wood burning stove. The Reckoning and newer packs have so many strap options they made the grab...

Chukar hunting is like elk hunting but with more b*tching. Change my mind.

If I hunted elk the same way I hunted chukar I would not have the energy to pack out meat. Hunting with glass vs a pointing dog is a whole different experience.

WTS Kifaru - 26" Duplex frame, MC Timberline 1 Bag, & MC Lid

You have to do some modification to the load lifter attachment. Kifaru has a YouTube video on this and you can probably get the modified lifter straps from Kifaru.

Stryker configuration options- rifle, tripod, and spotter.

I have a stryker on order and my plan is similar to my cargo panel/large side pocket/guide lid set up I am currently using for day hunts. The plan is water bladder in frame sleeve pocket, tripod and spotter between bag and frame. Day kit and kill kit in bag. Guide lid empty going in. Going...

Water purification in Desert areas

A pump filter system and 3 liter bladder at minimum with good planning and recon of water sources will get you a long way in the desert. If you can not find water it probably is not a good area to hunt.

My thoughts too. It appears to be a win win for both the NRA and Yeti. NRA will find a better company to deal with and Yeti will keep on doing what they want to do with their business.

Some where I heard about a study estimating house cats in the world kill more birds than all the hunters combined. Maybe we should change our focus on hunting house cats instead! Just joking but I am not concerned with lead in the fields. Lead is heavy and will sink down to clay or bed rock...
