Yes but out West, just head for turkeyish areas. Hike and call/spot and stalk all day. Pretty fun usually pick up a few sheds a long the way. My best/closest turkey encounters are on these type of hunts because usually I run into a lone tom out cruising.
Yeah the weight of my arrow is like 381 Grains and has a 20 grain insert in the front already. I don't know what's too much.

Okay guys so next question. I'm dropping my draw weight to 65lbs, and checking results.
I'm shooting at 284 FPS, with a 401 Grain arrow/Tip setup. I hunt elk and deer, I hear most guys like to be closer to 425-475 Grains combined with tip? How should I achieve this?

I've looked at the gold tip chart and it says I am, but my pro shop guy said I would be fine shooting 340's but I'm not having the best arrow flight in my opinion. I've told him but he still insists. That it isn't worth it.
