    i have a .308 in 21 inch barrel, with a Swarovski Z5i scope. With scope it weighs 6.5 lbs. Lightweight and precise. It is my only hunting rifle. I paid 1400 at the beginning of pandemic on GB.

    My first rifle doe successful hunt this past weekend. Got the meat back from processor last night. Still have antlered tag, hopefully i can get my first buck this year. Woke up today grateful and excited.

    Wife is out of town. Woke up late, made a breakfast sandwich. Loaded up few rifles, walked into backyard, shot a bunch of ammo. Fired up the grill, cooked some venison sausages for lunch [a deer that i killed last week]. Life is grand and day is not over.
