    Wyoming Season length

How long do the seasons usually last? I can’t seem to find the info anywhere. I’m looking at a unit with a tentative start date of September 25. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Idaho Help??

Thanks for the replies. I never considered the elk hunters, so I'll definitely look for areas with out any. Units 39, 43 and 49 were on my short list. Even though they have a lot of hunters, they seem to have enough deer if your willing to work. We are actually considering heading to our...

    Idaho Help??

I know asking for help about where to hunt is frowned upon, but I'm in a pickle and willing to take any negative comments. I planned a hunt for 5 of us to se Idaho. The party includes my 11 year old son looking for his first deer and my 75 year old father who doesn't get around too well. I...

    Wyoming Region H lower elevation?

Thanks for the advice. I read a bit about returning tags in Wyoming, but it was a little vague. I'll give them a call Monday.

    Wyoming Region H lower elevation?

So five us are heading back to Wyoming the last week of September. The area we hunted previously and plan to hunt again requires a lot of hiking up hill in some difficult terrain. Unfortunately, my dad just messed up his knee. This was gonna be a difficult hunt for him on a perfect knee, but...

need help on a new pack

I purchased mine online through leo adventures which gives me 40% off. I've seen it online quite a few times for well under $200.

need help on a new pack

You might want to check out the slumber jack bounty 4500. For the last two months I've been hiking and exercising with the slumber jack and a new kifaru ultra light. I have around 25 hours in each pack with anywhere from 50 to 90 lbs. I actually find the sjk more comfortable right now. This...

    Appy trails mark 5 review

I can't say I love the Mark V, but it has worked fine. Mine was up in the yard for over a month this summer, and then used for 5 nights in Nevada. It shows no wear. It is supposed to be a 5 or 4 man tent, but two is acutually a tight fit with how low and narrow the foot area is. I also use...

    Go time for NV

I'll be starting my 12 hour drive late this evening. That should give us a chance to drive around the area a bit tomorrow and rest up before hitting the trailhead first thing Friday morning. Good luck to everyone.

props to montana black gold bow sights

I've have nothing but great experiences with their costomer service. Just a few weeks ago I noticed my bubble level was no longer on my sight. I emailed their costomer service and had a new level in my mailbox a few days later.

    Nevada 2nd draw list

Pueblo, my brother and I will be heading down for the same hunt. I'm in Woodland, not very far from you. Send me a PM if you want to exchange some notes.

    NV second draw results up!

Got my area 10 tag which I think was a sure thing, but it's still nice to see it official. I've been going crazy researching The Ruby Mtn and East Humboldt Wilderness for the last month trying to find that "perfect" spot.

    Yet Another Backpack Gear Critique

Am I the only one who carries exta arrows? I don't ever plan on missing or falling and breaking a few, but it happens. There are many items in my pack that I could improvise or get by with out, but not my hunting equipment.
