Just went to the NBR myself. Best advice I’d have would be for some lightweight hip waders. I used a set of Chota hippies last month. Went from ankle to knee deep in just a step or two. Really paid off having them. Had gaiters too but hardly used them. Got a nice one with them on though. Also...

. But be prepared from 5 degrees to 65. Pretty big gap to fill.

What hip waders you all reconnect. Looked at the frog togg hip waders with neoprene booties. Or do you just go lacrosse and call it good?

Any ideas on the first lite vapor rain jacket. Hunting Alaska in august and don’t care to get soaked if it can be avoided. I’m still looking for a lightweight jacket if possible.
