    You're not wrong, but it was cheap and easy so I'll run with it for a while and see how it goes. As far as the edge goes I wonder if changing the angle to 30° would make a difference?

    I received my knife yesterday, the wrap looks decent but the low quality paracord has a lot of slack in it. I ended up tightening it up as much as I could and slid a piece of shrink tubing over it. Time will tell but I like the feel of it now and it feels nice and secure.

    I found that the frame squeak came from the end of the tube rubbing on the shoulder of the female side. I put a plastic cap on the end and haven't had a squeak since.
