    The cases never saw lube and I used a bore guide to clean and didn’t notice anything in there in terms of oil. I can check again but really don’t want to have to buy another box of 80 dollar ammo to check if it changes anything after yet another thorough cleaning.

    It’s got less than 75 rounds down it and I followed their break in with tons of cleaning.

    I already modified the stock with an arca rail and put a dead air xeno brake on the barrel. Not sure what the resale value would be.

    That might be the best option anyways. This site has me thinking smaller anyways and my shoulder ain’t getting any better. Only shoot at elk to 400 anyways.

    How much of an issue would it be to get a different barrel and send it to the gunsmith to change caliber?

    Not sure on the brass growth. Didn’t measure before firing as I was just loading a few quick to look for pressure and velocity.

    Thanks for the replies. I won this rifle but I really like the feel and how it balanced with the short barrel and a suppressor but I guess there is a reason people say to stay clear of CA

    The silver brass is factory stuff and the Hornady is virgin never fired. I didn’t size the new brass

    Help me decide next steps for my 13 year old

    What if the kid is left handed? Having problems finding a low recoil smaller gun on left hand. Or do I just teach him to shoot leftie with a rightie gun?
