MSR Trailshot..... interesting....

Is it a hollow filament filter like the Sawyer Mini? I’ve liked the idea of those filters as far as weight goes but having the Sawyer in colder temps, I’ve found myself not 100% trusting that it hasn’t froze at some point.

When in work attire (slacks and tie) it’s a Spyderco Ladybug. When in normal clothes it’s a Benchmade CLA that was a wedding present from my groomsmen. They even laser engraved it... “TO OUR FAVORITE IDIOT”...

I’ve used a Mountain Hardwear Skyledge 2 and the newer version Skyledge 2 DP for years and have been very happy with them.

What I don't bring on a backpack hunt anymore!

Extra clothes when I was young and couldn’t afford performance clothing. Clothing wouldn’t dry and would have to change. Performance fabrics are great.
