    If you are archery hunting, you can hardly go wrong with the Missouri River Breaks in MT. Is as easy or hard as you want to make it, and there are plenty of elk around. It is a special draw area for archery, but it has a very high success rate on the draw.

    Depends a lot on terrain, but I have seen them as far as 25+ miles, and wouldn't be surprised if they are further in some areas.
