I have a savage elite precision 338 lapua with a leupold mark5. 7-35×56 and I did tons of research on scope mounts for big calibers like this and around every corner spuhr mounts were the most recommended. And I dont regret spending the extra money.
I haven't noticed anything since I got it about a year ago. But I also so far mostly used it for range time. Only brought it out hunting a couple times. But I'll keep an eye on it.
