New Savage LR hunter .338 Lapua

I have both scopes. Baught the vx5hd first but I didn't prefer the sfp so upgraded to the mark 5 for ffp. But love both scopes.

New Savage LR hunter .338 Lapua

I have a savage elite precision 338 lapua with a leupold mark5. 7-35×56 and I did tons of research on scope mounts for big calibers like this and around every corner spuhr mounts were the most recommended. And I dont regret spending the extra money.

    6.5 PRC Factory rifles

I haven't noticed anything since I got it about a year ago. But I also so far mostly used it for range time. Only brought it out hunting a couple times. But I'll keep an eye on it.

    6.5 PRC Factory rifles

I have a savage 110 ultralight its not 6.5 prc its a Creedmoor but I absolutely love the gun. Convince me this Tikka build makes sense

Here's my 2 cents(not that my opinion matters at all) throughout this post you brought up multiple different guns. From everything I've read it seems to be more about weight then the brand or model of gun. So if you're just looking for a lightweight accurate. But not stupid accurate (your words)...

    $4K Budget for .30-06 + Optic - Elk Rifle

I hear you and there has to be a reason why so many people agree with you. But in my experience which isn't much probably 100-150 rounds total between 3 Tikka rifles 2 chambered in 308 and one in 6.5 cm .that hasn't been my experience. If what I've seen personally is average then every savage...

    Most accurate budget rifle

I have an older savage model 11 lightweight hunter with wood stock 5.5 pounds stock. can find them used well within your price range. And if you want new I bought my son the 110 lightweight storm in .308 5.6 pds and its a tac driver. The bolt was a little annoying when new it was grabby. But...

    $4K Budget for .30-06 + Optic - Elk Rifle

I have questions for all of you Tikka lovers out there. I've shot Tikka rifles a few times 2 shot pretty well 1 not so much. I dont own one personally(and I wont because the ones I shot didn't impress me. I have absolutely nothing against them, just not my thing)but a few friends and family own...
