Welcome to late season hunting- 3rd season will be two weeks later this year than in 2019! Opening day is starting November 13 so there may be a lot of snow or at least cold weather is addition to many hunters and outfitters. Last year, we woke up to snow and 50mph wind on the second day of 2nd...
I have this scope in the HD version and like it because it is lightweight and packs easily. I bought mine used on Craigslist so I didn't pay retail. Only con is the straight eyepiece.
Agreed! I managed to buy a Micarta/ Zwear sprint run shaman and it is somehow better than the original. It's hard to improve on perfection but somehow Spyderco did it.
Spyderco shaman with micarta handles. Just picked one up in Golden, Colorado last month at the factory outlet and haven't put it away. The Micarta has a fantastic texture, especially when wet. It will be with me when I hunt this fall and hopefully I can put it to use on an elk.

Only need one..... The Doug Ritter RSK from Hogue. I used it to skin and quarter 2 elk back to back last year without sharpening. I forgot my sharpener in the truck and didn't want to walk back to get it.
Please get your covid vaccine when you can. I have a few healthy friends who have been stuck with long term health problems after getting the virus. They were in their mid 30's with no underlying health conditions and are now "long haulers" needing oxygen 3 months later to walk a flight of stairs.
I have a pair of tract binoculars and have not noticed the issue you're describing. I wonder if you have the interpupillary distance set appropriately for your eyes. By the way that's a screaming deal with those binoculars! I don't think you'll be disappointed with them. And if you are you can...
I've been very happy with the track optics that I've purchased. I have a 8 x 42 as well as a 10x50 pair of binoculars. I'm not sure how they compared to the Zulu 7 or Zulu 9. If you can find a pair of demo binoculars, you should be able to sell them for at least as much as you paid for them if...
Maybe a better investment to save the money and spend it on a quality tripod. The difference between the 10x and the 15x is small. But then again I have four binoculars sitting in the safe...
