I live in Wyoming. Hunt western Wyoming. Almost all public. It will be hard to not find antelope. Can't think of a good reason to have an outfitter. Dang things are everywhere.

5 antelope, a deer and 2 elk stuffed in my pack this year. Bottom half was soaked in blood. Stuffed it in my front loading washer with a healthy dose of "Tide Free and Clear" powder. Came out clean and stink free.

I killed a bull up 9 mile a few years ago. Access is tough. Most of the canyon mouths are private with blm behind it. Dropping down into the canyons from.the top is daunting at best.

I try to prep myself for any pack out that I know will be tough.
Usually I eat a high carb protein bar, take 2 Aleve and drink a 5 hour energy right as the pack out starts...then go like hell.
Anyone else have something they do?

Squats and deads train proper hip hinge.
Not just the glutes, but the entire pelvic girdle. Training under load.
I used to have the same issues. Squats and deadlifts with proper form were my cure. Throw in some RDL's
