Projectile Length

Do yourself a favor and buy a comparator set. As others have mentioned shape and length are most likely different so optimal seating depth is likely to change depending on the bullet ogive.

Spotting your shots

Mythology of Markmanship with Morgun King is a good resource as well. Guiding the rifle to the centerline without creating too much load into the rifle is the basic premise and has worked well for me.
