I use OnX as my main GPS and I recently got a Garmin inreach explorer as well for this season. My Inreach will be mostly for SOS and gps backup. Would you still bring a map and compass as a back up for your back up?
I have a 40lb bag of water softener salt that I got at home depot for $5 in my load shelf and a few random gear items inside my pack to up the overall weight a little
It really depends what you want to photograph. If you want to get landscape the 18-55 will be perfect but if you're trying to photograph animals you'll need the 75-300 for sure
I tried searching but couldn't find an answer. I have the caribou carnivore III bags which are 5 16x30 bags for elk so I'm sure I won't need all 5. They don't take up much room or weight but I can fit my knife and paracord in the supplied bag easily, if I don't have all 5 bags in there.
