    Vortex warrant turnaround time ?

Those are some impressive turn around times. I’m wondering if a clicky and sloppy adjustment knob qualifies for a repair?

Trucks on ridges in Idaho unit 29?

That is definitely a desired plan. We will probably need to be in there a few mornings to see where people are typically coming in from.

Trucks on ridges in Idaho unit 29?

Mule deer. In the northern part of the unit it looks like roads/trails all over those mountains. Are people running those roads on atvs or trucks? Definitely not looking to walk up the steepest slope there. Will be on foot when leaving the truck. No horses or atvs.

    Vortex warrant turnaround time ?

I have had vortex binos for years but never sent in for warranty repair. My Diamondback 12x50 have a lot of slop and clicking in the focus adjuster. I was wondering what typical turnaround time has been for anyone mailing in their binos for repair ?

Trucks on ridges in Idaho unit 29?

Arriving in Idaho unit 29 on Oct 12 and have been doing a lot of map research. First time in that unit and was seeing plenty of trails/roads that appear to summit some of the ridges or at least a good way up. Would it be a mistake to park at the bottom and hike in only be passed by someone in...

    Traeger vs Smoker

From my experience the advertised high temp cooking/searing on the traeger is not realistic at all. Anything over 425 degrees and it's a real flare up risk. Have had several bad flare ups where I had to push the door down tight to starve it of oxygen after shutting down. If the drip pan isn't...

    Hydro or solar power generator?

Keeping the battery wrapped in clothing or placed in the middle of a full pack helps insulate. If it's really cold try to keep it close enough to get some body heat in your pack or pocket.
