That's actually a great idea. I typically just scrub mine thoroughly with a brush and soap. I get the big stuff but then just put it back into the sheath and wait for the next kill.

I am the same way. I do not want to have to carry my stove with me during the day. So my day food is a big variety of ready to eat stuff. I'll put stuff in individual gallons sacks and then grab as many sacks as I need when I leave my truck. If I have food left over, I'll either gorge myself at...

This has been my standard advice for many guys who are unsure of their gear. What they need, what they don't. You don't necessarily need to go where you are hunting. But getting it as real as it can be with 2 overnights will give you a good idea of what worked and what didn't. Sent from my...

My dad likes unique types of knives and other gadgets and enjoys the random gift. At 74, he would enjoy getting something we can use to clean and quarter one of our animals this next fall. Additionally, being that it comes from a small business, he (we) would be more inclined to support this...

For archery in warm weather I try to get close to 40 lbs of total pack weight, not including my weapon. For cold weather, I want to be around 45 lbs, maybe a few more depending on how long I'll be gone and the weather I expect. I can carry quite a bit more and doing so all day isn't an issue...

Under the topic of preparation for an upcoming hunt for a new hunter. Discuss necessities and then drill in the importance of trying these things out prior to season. Maybe a brief hike, or not, and an overnight in the tent, bag, pad etc that they will be using. Gets them to try their gear...

I do have one that I use for quartering mostly. And yes, it requires some good cleaning. Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk

I say kudos to the guy for getting a business model that works. It's unique, he seems to make a good product and from a few reviews, provides great customer service. If he had to make different knives individually, prices would probably go up. Probably more efficient for a small operation like...

How to KILL Disable a Primer

Thats what I was thinking. Just install, insert and fire. Then everyone would also know they are spent when they look at them. No confusion. Or pop a spent primer in. Not sure how well a spent primer would stay in after coming out of one shell and going into another. Sent from my SM-S918U...
