I wore meindl leather boots at work for years and after awhile you get tired of always conditioning your boots the proper way , we would pour chain oil on them and rub it in for 2 second with your hands ... I’m not recommending that but it worked for me !
I have a 15 year old pair of meindls that are still waterproof . Just bought a pair of Lowa Tibet GTX .. they are almost as comfy and I’m hoping they stay just as waterproof . So far so good
I’ll second that . Buy premium ethanol free gas from the pumps , it’s said that it stores way longer than regular and doesn’t dry out the rubber in the carbs . As far brand , I’ve used both Stihl and husky professionally . buy a saw that you can get parts and service close to where you live
It’s not hunting specific at all but Pavel Tsatsouline is pretty interesting when it comes to functional strength training . He’s worth listening to .... in my opinion
I don’t think you need mountains to get in shape for sheep either,. get your cardio in and eat healthy and you’ll be fine . When you’re in the mountains its better to get lighter than to get stronger ( to some degree)If you can drop some pounds your knees will thank you for it
