    Sewing 1.1 Ripstop Game Bags

    I don’t bother with tape but I use those little clips every now and again, setting the correct tension is the key to it not bunching up and sewing properly, I like a flat felled seam for rip stop and it gives a real strong seam, I have used both terra 40 and 60 to good effect

    How do you make straight cuts on lightweight fabrics?

    I just use a long straight edge then a rotary cutter or some proper material sheers and start the cut and push along the line, some materials though need proper cutting , scissors like these are great.

    I have a singer 96-49k which is a bigger machine it’s not got a walking foot but has seen multiple webbing and leather with ease it also sees rip stop very well, it’s an old machine but runs really nice, it could do with a servo upgrade but I haven’t got round to that, I would love to try a juki...

    Here's the pack with all buckles and straps on, the two top clips are not attached I run out of milspec grosgrain to hem the top so need that before completion but a very nice project can't wait to get using it, regards wayne. Total weight including the frame 4.2LB.
