I’ve got a Thunderhorn one piece strap on that I love, just wanted to try something a little different for the reverse handle ASL I got in December. Picked my compound up and may go that direction for hunting season this year though.
I just got a mystery ranch pintler and really like it so far. Bungeed hawk heliums to my xop vanish and put it on the meat shelf and it carries easy. There are two straps on the bag I’d assume you could strap your bow to, but I haven’t tried it.
I think the perfect hunting arrow will have a trajectory you’re accurate with, while being heavy enough for good penetration, and tipped with a broadhead you can get and keep scary sharp.
I’m going to try out down as a mid layer this year. I’m mostly nervous about the noise. Layering fleece under cabelas wooltimate was the ticket this year down into the teens.
I also have never hunted in expensive outers to compare anything to.
