Talk me out of or into this rifle

If you do that Google Christensen thing you’ll find plenty of good reviews too. I have 3 of them and not a problem with one. My brother in law has two Ridgelines. My two best hunting buddies have Ridgelines. All are great shooting rifles that I’ve witnessed first hand. Good luck on your hunt.

    Christensen Rifles

My experience with Christensen…. Bought a Ridgeline in 6.5 Cdmr two years ago. Super accurate (.5 moa) with factory Hornady Precision Hunter 143 ELD-X and my hand loads using the same bullet at similar velocities (2700 fps). No problems at all with fit, finish or function. Liked that one so...

    Flying with backpacks

I have carried on a MR Metcalf without problem, granted it wasn’t stuffed full. Just optics and a few other things I didn’t trust in checked baggage. Fit fine in overhead and nobody said a word.

    Rifle case for flying

Kalispel Case Line www.kalispeltribe.com Have one that’s travelled a long way without a problem. A bit heavier and more $$$ than the Pelican though.

    Thinking about rifle scope change

I know some folks have poo poo’d the Swarovski Z5 3.5-18x44 but I have two of them and have never had any trouble. With a 6.5 Creedmoor there’s enough elevation dial for 600 yds (2700 FPS 143gr) and with my 300 Wby Mag (3200 FPS 180gr) there’s enough for 750 yds. Both are within my range of...

    Bullet Pulling

I had several different 6.5 loads nicely organized in an MTM box ready to test at the range. Dumped the box by accident and now have no idea what is what. Going to have to start all over.... I've never pulled bullets before. I do have an RCBS puller and the proper collet. Question is, do i...

    Sheep rifle attributes?

I really like the ADL bottom on a gun. More simple and stronger. Sounds like a nice rifle.

    Golden Eagle Outfitters recommendations?

Flew with them this year, Sept. 14-21. Hunted approximately 90 nm north northeast of Kotzebue, north of the Noatak River. Service was good. I would recommend them. My friends have used them for many years now. Did not see great numbers of caribou as it seems the migration had not quite started...
