I’ve used RCBS dies but with my 6.5 PRC I upgraded to the Redding Type S Match die set. Very happy with the results. I really like that die set and will probably stick with it moving forward but have no comparison as that’s the only 6.5 die set I have. Easy load development. Lapua brass as well.
There is no difference between one’s actions that hurts us vs someone seeing a billboard or social media and falls pray to the anti/pro wolf. They both are numb to the understanding of nature and what’s at stake
Someone like this is no different from the extreme anti hunters. They all feel like they are doing the right thing, high fives, feel part of a movement, or whatever. There’s no enjoyment in animal suffering.
Once a dumbass stops being a dumbass
Tell me more about “Angry Lady”. I bought this some years ago and believe I used it in soup broth and in the wok. I’ve gone down so many rabbit holes I sometimes forget their purpose. How do you typically use it? Thanks for the reminder
@Ucsdryder, tell me more about this 10 to 14 day ice bath. I’ve never heard of that. What is it?
OP I’d focus on how to get the meat cooled. It takes a lot to get the internal temps down. More than you would imagine. I’ve never been concerned about meat freezing and if I did I’d put them in...
Oh man this happened to me while hunting some time ago. I just used a piece of wood but like the shoelace plan. Easy to fix but I remember studying that bolt for a long time🤣
OP, I read the first 3 pages and now the last one for reference. I’d recommend going back through those earlier post. Lots of sound knowledge in there. Two year old dog still could be trainable to me if you have a solid program. Beside the 24/7 feeding, one of the biggest things that stood out...
While I’m also a NR to CO and get the frustrations we have to face I hope you all in CO have contacted your representatives already. HOWL and many others make this easy.
Thank you for those that did. When hunters, trappers, houndsmen,… lose we all lose
I don’t have that gun/caliber but the first thing I would do is decide what bullet type you want to use and try it or similar ballistic equivalent. If that doesn’t matter to you then buy a variety of ammo and see what shoots the best for your gun. At 200 yards and less my personal preference...
I have one that isn’t rugged and hanging in the gear room.
When I was a kid we would stay at a family friends cabin in the Adirondack. He might of cased his, not sure but he had one drooped from nearly every step going up to the top floor. Coolest thing. He also had many rugs as well. Most of...
Good question on measurable differences in variation. I wonder that with certain measurements myself. Measuring to ogive with Barnes and Hornady bullets have always been close, like within .001. I take measurement to polymer tip on few for my notes. This is separate loads for each bullet type. I...
Oh you are referring to rock cairns to mark trails. It’s increasing popular for some folks to make your own cairn off trial making it difficult to follow the actual trail. They can be really important when the trail is made of bedrock😁
Not sure I understand your language of the “stupid” locals in UT? I was simply saying that UT has a lot more to offer than one would think. I’m sure you know that
Why do you want my honey holes?
