I’d have to look at CA’s website. It’s definitely on the heavier side. It’s a well built rifle in my opinion. I’ll have it rebarreled when it’s time. It really didn’t shoot factory ammunition that well so that might be something to consider. It’s probably not a bad choice if you’re not used to... -

Well, I have the CA Mesa long range with an amd tuner and I really like it. My brother feels it kicks less than his 300 weatherby vanguard which it might since it’s a lot heavier. It’s more like a push like the 340/338. Might be the heavier bullets I’m shooting. Hope that helps -

I hear ya. I keep thinking I need to let my shoulders heal up a bit but I keep going out and shooting lol. My groups today were pretty bad lol. I’ve been leaving the quiver on which isn’t helping but I really want to strengthen quickly. Problem is I’m old lol, doesn’t work like it did 30 years ago -

I’ve been shooting the crap out of mine. Really enjoying it. Still a little wobbly from being out of shape but keeping them inside 6” @ 60 unless I screw up. Really helps being able to shoot at home. Ended up buying a new release , hog something or other. Doesn’t help my wobble but the purple... -

Shocking experience
That’s crazy! I cut timber for 20 years in western Washington and never experienced anything like that but I worked with a couple old timers that didn’t want anything to do with lightning storms. It’s weird how it strips the bark on trees. Some breeds of trees like Doug fir it strips it straight...- Nealm66

I have the ca long range and really like it. It’s on the heavy side but it helps for the recoil. I’m sure the bargara is fine although I think it might be a little more difficult to re barrel.
