    Co gmu 231

So after our initial screw up and looking over the maps GMU 231 looks fairly similar to GMU 12. I was looking into the Fish Creek area hiking in from that bend on Dunckly Pass. Is anybody familiar with this area and or GMU and care to chime in? No horses no ATV coming in from NH humping...

    Help!!!

We've only bought airfare out to hunt so far. We are going to attempt to see if we can draw 12 this year as a second choice with PP being our first and ultimately just getting our OTC license.

    Another tipi build

I got all my material from RBTR. I'm not sure on cost. I can say its way cheaper than buying one. When I made my first tipi I ordered the silly stuff like zippers, ribbon, stovejack material and the peak cover material not in bulk but way more than I would use on 1 tipi. This one above I got the...

    Stove wire?

Does anybody know where to get stove wire? Size? The stoppers. I've been using the 1/16th wire from the Depot. Works ok but the other stuff would be lighter Thank you Sent from my SM-J727V using Tapatalk

    Another tipi build

So I start from the top. Each side has two pieces. I essentially sew the side panels together first. To include making the door side. Then I would be left with 4 sides to sew together. I see the 3 non door side together and then lastly sew the door panel in. For me the tops are a little easier...

    Tipi heat

I brought my tipi to work so the guys and I could run some tests. I was mainly looking for a heat source during the go to bed time and wake up time. So I put my MSR in the tent and fired her up. Tent is an 8x8 with 6' top. 2 mins of run time gave an interior temp of 85 deg and the CO did not get...

    Another tipi build

This tipi came out real nice. This one is 8'x8' with a center height of 6'. Super happy with this one. I'm contemplating pulling the first one I built apart and make it again. Basically cutting the seams out and just sewing it up again. I'm addicted Sent from my SM-J727V using Tapatalk

    Another tipi build

Getting ready to start another tipi build. Gonna run the seams as a fold over. Anybody have suggestions on a glue to keep the silpoly in place? Basting tape, elmers glue stick, pins? I used small clamps last go around. They work ok but stuff still wants to move on ya. Suggestions welcomed. Sent...

    Tent design

I happy with progress, however I do have a couple of corners that are not tight. I'll probably just put the outs and pull them out tight. Thing is monster big inside. I just have to seam seal and stove Jack it. Sent from my SM-J727V using Tapatalk
