    HSA is almost always better. It you have chronic issues and are at the doctor so the time, then PPO can make more financial sense.

    The problem with investing with debt is that your math doesn't factor in risk. The interest you make is not guaranteed. The interest you pay is required, or else the bank will take everything. This puts your family's livelihood at the mercy of the housing market, whether your tenet pays on time...

    If you have no debt and a paid for house, why do you need a credit score? After a year or two without and debt, your score goes back to 'indeterminable', like when you were a kid without any credit. If you want to move and get another mortgage, there are companies that do manual underwriting...

    Another vote for the ESC tracker. I got into minimalist shoes after a very mild case of plantar fasciitis. Physical therapist basically said that the feet are coddled by normal shoes. I've worked my way up to rucking heavy with no shoes. I only wear shoes for warmth and rocks/acorns/etc...
