All you guys shooting the 75s and 77s in your 8 twist tikkas gotta try the 52gr SMK
It absolutely blows the heavies away at 100 and 200 yards in my opinion. They worked well with varget too but not this well.
Working with some tac today at 100yds in my t3x. I'm gonna continue working with...
Can't go wrong with the CTR
The barrel is a goldilocks situation
It's 'just right'
Light enough to carry
Heavy enough to take to the range and shoot longer strings.
Ought to shoot 3/4 moa with minimal load work
I have one. It's excellent. He will install the extractor and ejector for you if you like. Then all you do is swap the cocking assembly and bolt handle. I switch between 223 and 308 on my rifle almost weekly and I have no issues with his bolt body.
Paul is a great dude and his work is top...
I've used those vortex rings before and they are junk. I had similar issues to you. The hardware is inferior quality and stretches excessively I found, which led to the scope coming loose in the rings. Best to stay away from anything vortex I think. Except their scope caps, which are excellent.

I did...
Or we could stop overthinking absolutely everything and just go shoot the damn thing.
The amount of overanalyzing over superfluous things I see on this forum is insane. I get it, there's a lot of options so it's only natural.
But God forbid my rifle doesn't weigh exactly what I want it to...
All that work to save 4 oz. Skip a meal a day for a week before your hunt, there's your weight savings and it's free.
Why don't you guys admit it just makes your rifle look cool and that's the market? Another thing you can 'do'. It does look badass no doubt.
Triad stock pack is the answer for your comb height desires. It adds utility as well with the pouch.
Everyone here will recommend tikka
But pick the one you like the most. The sauer 100s are another oft overlooked option.
I'd buy used if possible you can save a lot of money and possibly find...
