Air bnb in Fairbanks for caribou processing
There are certain hotels in Fairbanks with ground floor suites that have full sized fridge/freezer and kitchen....just sayin. -

Getting caribou to lower 48 from Kotzebue
AK air is usually pretty good with caring for coolers/fish boxes, they always slap the orange frozen sticker on my fish boxes and coolers. Kinda counting on those stickers to make sure things are kept cool. Friends have gone from Anchorage to Miami with no issues. Not saying something can't... -

Suggestion for caribou euro mount hanger
I just use an L corner brace and a bolt with 2 nuts. Bend the brace to the angle you want. Costs $5. -

Shipping Caribou Antlers from Fairbanks
I put a shed on my friend's rack. No problems. If you were going the skull cap route you could probably put them together. If going euro mount (probably too late) AK air known shipper would be my suggestion to ship additional. -

Caribou hide preservation
Not sure where you're headed, but we rolled ours put in a dry bag and put in a creek near camp. No slip issues and they turned out pretty nice. -

2022 drop hunt gear review/trip planning help
Yeah I wouldn't do an AK caribou hunt without a tarp or two. Wind break, rain shelter to glass, meat protection etc. Given 125lbs, I would add more real food to the list. Add some butter or vegi oil. I carry a chest seal in my kit. Would go with 0 degree bag. I absolutely loathe the...
