    There is stuff called Frey check to stop any freying if your concerned. Also many machines can make a large button hole and that works for this type of application also.

    I have Raynauds, learned along time ago mittens are better and Name Brand hand warmers work best. Visit Raynaudss gloves there are some good ones out there for this.
