ND deer #s are way down compared to 3-4 years ago. Last winter was absolutely brutal on them. I shot a small whitetail archery buck this year just to fill the freezer. The muley pressure in the badlands has increased so much that the G&F is looking at making big changes in the near future...
I have used the Kuiu Pro pant with built in knee pads and the Guide pant for elk hunting in Sept. and Oct. Both have worked well. Antelope in September the Tiburon gets my vote. They all have held up great and i love the side zippers as stated above.

Ive only been on 4 elk hunts before this year. 5th time was the charm for me killing one. Keep at it and dont ever even think about quitting. Change up tactics if youre not seeing them and proceed from there.
I plan on heading to MT for antelope the third weekend to. I know there will be the deer and elk hunters out and about but i think that will add to the hunt?.. just got back on Tuesday from WY doing a combo antelope/elk hunt and it turned out great. Bagged one of each.
Yes. The .243 travels with everywhere i go under the back seat and my main rifle either the 7MM or 300 is in the front. The pistol is in the glove box or on me.
