    First week of October is usually my prime time, weather does change the rut. You want cool weather but after the second week of October it can be difficult getting moose to respond to calls. You are more dependent on calling for archery.

    My vote would be #1 Accubond's, #2 Partitions, I have not had stellar results with TTSX bullets out multiple calibers and stopped reloading them about 10 years ago. Actually all I load for moose are Accubonds.

    Yup i handload 200 gr Accubonds in 5 different 300 RUMs, i got 5 moose all pass through and together my group has about 15-20 moose with them and some huge bears. Solid weight retention.
