  • I was reading your post about altitude and being a flat lander. I live near Gettysburg and my first trip out was rough. It affected me all week to the point that it basically ruined my hunt. My last trip out, I got Altitude Rx off Amazon (read the reviews). It’s an herbal supplement, not a drug.
I started taking it when we left to head out and took it up to the last day and I felt great! We stayed our first night in a room at around 8,500’ and the next morning I hiked up to 12,000’. I sat up there for about 2hrs and did start feeling slightly nauseous but not bad. So I headed down a few hundred feet and that was the last I felt anything all week. Besides getting a little winded the first 2 days, I could basically get around like we do here. And I didn’t train up as hard as I would’ve liked. I’m a firm believer in that stuff though. Check it out. Hope it helps.
We’re heading out first week of sept for my sons first trip,, and he’ll be using that as well!
    Good luck!
