I used multiple Alaska Guide Creations for years, but switched to Stone Glacier harness and rangefinder pocket last year. Very happy with the new setup and nice and tight to the body. Give it a look too.
I tend to like my synthetics over the merinos for the same reason. They tend to be more comfortable when wet and dry faster. I just wear two when it gets colder!

hunting lopes with a bow is a blast. You may, but I could not, hunt by sitting in a blind over water. I gave it 1/2 a morning once then no more. The stalks can be very long and slow and frustrating when, after hours, you get busted at 80-90 yrds.

+1 no longer carry TP as one small square of paper towel does that trick and if it gets wet still works fine!. also, won't let fingers poke through at the wrong moment!
