Went last year ,first time otc in colorado,,had a blast 8days. Interacted with 7 bulls, came oh so close, one bull called in 15 yds no shot, 5 ft tall oak brush, one bull 55 yds no shot. Never saw another hunter off the trail. Could have killed mule deer every day, no tag. Even had a large...

Buying a bow new or used

Nothing wrong with used bows, hell i bought a used Elite (barely used)from a guy that bought it and couldnt get it to shoot broadheads so in the tuning process I bought a shim kit to move the cams and really alls I ended up doing is swapping the large spacers to the opposite side of the cams ...

Road Hunters

I bowhunted colorado this year and what I could tel a road hunter is someone from Texas with an atv, suv, utv, or rcatv. They were camped everywhere but we hunted 4 to 5 miles in and never saw a soul actually hunting.

Hunter killed by deer

Happened to a guy I was hunting with while muzzleloader hunting. Shot the deer waited, got down, didn't reload. The deer got up and charged him, he swung that heavy tc hawken at the deer and knocked the deer down then slit its throat. Crazy! He did break the stock off at the handgrip but he's alive.

Going full public this year, done with leasing game

Bow hunted Colorado in muzzleloader season with orange army never saw a soul after a mile from the trail. Most of them drove up and down the roads on atvs and called

First bull elk!

Wow, love it. Went my first time this year with my bow had 7 bulls respond , 2 came in close, one under 20 yds, no shot, wind swirled guess what? Can't wait for next year
