I'm shooting a fixed 5 pin set from 20-60 since that is what I'll shoot in any hunting situation. On the range I'll shoot out to 100 with the oh so precise method of putting my 60 pin on the target, looking at where the 20 pin is, and then moving the 60 pin to that location and let it fly...
Picked up the Vortex Ranger 1800 last week and it's been awesome. A lot of guys recommended the Sig Kilo but I just couldn't get past the limited warranty when it comes to my luck with electronics.
I’ve used the AZ EZ-Fletch for years and fletched hundreds of arrows. It’s served it’s purpose well, some tips if you go that direction...
1) don’t put nearly as much glue on the fletching as you think you should, it doesn’t take much
2) don’t leave the arrow in the jig for long or it’ll glue...
Read the initial post and thought you’d walk it out, 200, 300, 400, etc. Nope, hit at 400 and straight to 1000! I’m brand new to this discipline with the same setup, nice shooting and thanks for the write up.
