Maybe it was the little people (Inukins, Ircenrraat, Sungcuk). I know a Native guy from Noatak that is a believer and claims to have seen one. Who knows?
Little People
...than good! Went for a boat ride yesterday, not expecting to see much. Planned on hunting three days next week then hunting the last week of the month. About 11am I decided to head home to get some stuff done around the house. This little bull was just walking up the gravel bar a couple...
Well it definitely doesn’t like that bullet. The 180gr TBT shoots sub-MOA out of the gun. Maybe I’ll try something else and see what happens.

Well I guess I answered my own question. In a gun that shoots sun-moa with 180gr TBT, the 200gr Ascents are a definite no go. Three shots at 100yds

I've read that with tipped bullets using the JBM calculator is more reliable. Based on my measurements and rough data (without chrono #s), it's on the low end of green stability according to JBM. I'll just have to shoot and see.
After a trip to Hawaii this winter I decided I needed some time off from the bottle. It had become a habit to have a few drinks every night, or on my days off when doing stuff around my garage. I need to lose a bunch of weight and get in shape as well. So, I just stopped altogether 2 months...
I agree that it's waaay to easy to overanalyze while sitting behind a screen. I'm going to give them a shot, regardless. Was just seeing if anyone had tried them out with the same gun.
I don't reload and my go to 180gr Trophy bonded tips are currently unobtanium. Picked up a couple of boxes of the Terminal Ascent to see how they shoot. Anybody try them out of their 1-11" twist Tikka .300wm?
Kids want to catch whatever they can catch a lot of. That's one of the reasons why my boys enjoy going back to Maine in the summer to visit. Get into schools of white perch and catch fish all day. Much more fun for them then backtrolling for Kings for hours.
