    Same issues in alaska with a vortex rangefinder. Not just mine but my hunting partner as well. Very frustrating to spend money on a piece of equipment you count on to help with taking an animal only to get let down in the field.

    Had a eberlestock gunslinger 2 that was a good shorter duration hunting pack and was absolutely bullet proof however it is a little on the heavy side. Upgraded this year to the kifaru fulcrum and have loved it although far more expensive than most packs

    Mountain Bikes

    Went on a ride this afternoon. Haven't used it to hunt but great way to get outside and try something new. Growing up my dad used his old road bike and a homemade paracordd sling to pedal his bow into the woods. Very versatile and fun contraptions

    Hunting Pants

    Sitka timberline are my favorite. Waterproof seat works well as long as it isn't super wet and the knee pads come in handy more than you think. Super stretchy and dry out quick
