Depends on yoursize, body shape, what you intend to carry, and how deep concealment you need. A pistol the size of a Hellcat should not be a problem to conceal. Just have to balance comfort and concealability with ease of access and how quick you can present your weapon. Case in point - pocket...
Depends on your intended use for the rifle. For hunting or where you will be lugging it around a lot and shooting a little, a light contour barrel would be good. Something like a sporter to even a med palma.
Less carry and more shooting (target, PRS) heavier barrel will not heat up as quickly...
Unfortunately, there are not a lot of places i can scope out optics (pardon the pun) where i am in MT. Did get to try some Leica UV and Swarovski’s and found out that i am extremely sensitive to field flatteners, which leave my stomach churning after the least bit of tilting or panning...
+1 on the truth. 30k people have moved here to the Flathead Valley of MT since Jan 2021, mostly from CA and WA. The people here are real friendly, but increasingly there have been shorter fuses, more road rage. Plate hate is a real thing here. Unfortunate, but tragic when locals are being priced...
Anyone have experience with Eberlestock’s (nosegunner, scout) with a 10x50 size bino? What size pistol will fit comfortably in the pistol sleeve with the bino inside (I typically carry a 10mm 1911)? Thanks.
For me, one of the perks of going to Yellowstone is driving the Beartooth hwy from Red Lodge to the west entrance. Of course you can drive it the opposite direction to escape the park.
