    I have been using an Outdoor Edge replaceable for separating the legs and neck and a Havalon for skinning and deboning and they have worked great for me. Cheap, lightweight and very sharp blades.

    I have a Subaru Outback with the 3.6r and it has plenty of power. I use it for hunting, fishing and camping and it gets me way more places than it should. It ends up getting way more use than my F250 does.

    Rack for E-bike

    I have been using a Thule T2 Pro XTR and it has worked great. I have had a Rad Rover 5 and a Bakcou Mule on it and it hauled them with no issues.

    I have had great luck with my Fenix HM65r. It is nice having the 1400 lumens if I need it and its nice to be able to just plug it in to recharge.

    I did a bunch of research when I was looking and settled on Kowa Genesis 10.5x44’s. They were a huge upgrade from my Nikon Monarch 5’s and I have been super happy with them. Talk to Doug at Cameraland.

    Montana Spring bear

    My brother and I spent the weekend in the Great Bear Wilderness area. We saw more grizzlies than black bears. I had my crosshairs on a dandy but couldn’t get the shot off on time. It was fairly smoky and tons of ticks. We got into the bears around 5000’. Good times.

    If you are planning on doing a bunch of glassing then I would bring bino’s and a tripod. I would take a look at the Kowa Genesis 10.5x44 binoculars. Really nice glass and you can buy them for under $1k.

    Mans best friend - shooting vs euthanasia

    I just went thru this with my best buddy and I had him put down at the vet. It was very peaceful and I was able to hold him until his last breath. It is amazing how attached I was to him and miss I him daily.
