Carbon is stronger and lighter. I can’t think of any reason, for this tent, to use aluminum.

Nothing I am aware of, but I don’t work there and haven’t heard anything about an update to that. But there could be, but it’s not a tent I would be testing based on how I hunt.

I haven’t had it in significant wind yet, but it still has less profile than another tent that has a fly on it. The new sleeves are only about two thirds the length of the poles. The bottom section still has the clips. The benefit of the sleeves are much higher stability and strength, so I don’t...

I think more like 4-6 ounces. I just weighed mine just as I pack it and it weighs 3 pounds 1.6 ounces all in.
