I have a code for a huge discount on Badlands gear and have no idea what I should be using it on.
I have my packs and bino harness already; fit has always been perfect for me so I have stuck with them on packs, but I have never purchased any of their clothing so I have no idea what is good or...
Reverse image search shows it as being a TNF Campshire. If you do a google search for "TNF Campshire tiger" you will see images of versions with the horizontal tiger stripes.
Just looks like the TNF chest square is removed.
Looking to add a phone pocket and a bottle sleeve (sick of dealing with reservoir) to my Badlands 2200.
Anybody have good options for products or DIY gear that will work well on the shoulder straps of the 2200?
Really like my J. Crew Abingdon canvas messenger. Found it on Poshmark for only $30. It isn't very structured though, if that is something you need the Filson bags would work better.
Be careful with messenger bags as alot of them are designed to look sturdier then they actually are (ex fake...
If the boots are still waterproof to your expectations they should be good.
Just go through a full clean process. Brush, wash, oil, condition and wax/waterproof.
You can attempt to sand down the edges but you have to be real careful not to do more damage to the scratch itself.
HH Impertech jackets, been waiting on a factory order for a while now. Bibs shipped day of order.
Could only get a corporate order for certain Carhartt gear in navy or pink. No duck, gray or black available.
About 15% of their weight is the point you should max out. If 8-12 lbs is doable, that will allow them to carry all of the must have gear needed for 1-3 days, but you should also plan on leaving some space in/on your pack to lighten their load if needed. Any longer than 3 days, means you need to...
That statement on "This is who you are" I think is the core issue that BRC is ultimately dealing with. I have seen that "Proud-Boyish" and wannabe tough-guy types began mixing BRC tees and caps along with their closet full of 5.11 and The Punisher gear. BRC gear had the potential to become...
Found a friend with some Alphaburly 400s I can borrow. Going to try those for scouting this summer and will see how they work before I buy my own 800s for the fall. My current snow/ice-fishing boots are 600g, so I think the 800s will be more than enough warmth.
Moving hunts to NW Wisconsin, lot of area is tamarack swamp and I really want to avoid dealing with waders.
Any recommendations for dealing with hiking through swamp followed by long sits?
Muck Boots or other rubber boots? Is any single model good for all seasons? Or will I need two pairs (1...
Buying land in NW Wisconsin. Making the transition from a decade of upland birds and ag land stand sits in SE Wisconsin to baiting bears and ground/blind hunts in a tamarack swamp. Learned as a kid but haven't used these skills in years, so lurking has provided a great refresher course on tons...
