"I’d like to try the Schmid single".
You have. The ALG and BCM are branded Schmid triggers. So are the PSA EPT, SOLGW, and many others. Great for a hard use build, where precision isn't the highest priority.
The 2 stage are a completely different design of course, but available under many...
I have tried a bunch. I prefer the Larue MBT 2 over all. I have 3 SSAEs. They are very good but 50% more expensive, and I prefer the MBT2 regardless of price. I prefer the shape of the MBT, the first stage is a bit longer, the "wall" firmer, and the break crisper, when compared to the SSAE.
My...
Thanks for posting! This is a smoking deal. Cheapest I've ever seen. It can be tough to find these for $500. $425 is a steal. This is cheaper than Trijicon's bottom of the line the Huron and Ascent. I picked up another red mil square version.
For the ones listed here,
1. Credo 3-9 or Accupoint 2.5-12. Price and weight favor the Credo. Everything else favors the accupoint.
2. Credo 2-10
3. Accupoint 3-9
It is fantastic. Simple and very effective. Very accurate with factory Barnes 168 TTSX. In fact, it is very accurate with every load I've tried but it stacks the 168s and they've killed very well for me (mule deer, elk, and a blacktail).
I also have an accupoint 2.5-12 on a 18" 5.56 AR. I love...
My exact set up. Tikka SS 30-06 Trijicon credo 3-9 mil reticle. It is simple and effective. I'm a big trijicon fan and have Credos, accupoints, and a couple older accupowers. All are great. I've run leupolds but the only one I currently own is in the box.
Sheesh... >$1500, 34mm, 1-6?
Does not seem competitive in the current LPVO market. Trijicon credo FFP can be had for ~$800 with careful shopping around. NX8, PA PlxC seem to blow this out of the water too. Delta Stryker or Vortex Razor G2E in SFP too. I guess we'll see how it does.

FYI Botach gets mixed reviews. I have never had a problem with them but they are not a super fast shipper. The company has been around a long time and they are definitely legit. However, I wouldn't be surprised if it took a few weeks to get an order delivered. Do with that...
I'd probably get a Howa 16.25 barreled action in 6.5 or 308 from brownells. These won't be super light though. They have a relatively heavy barrel profile. Then pick the chassis of your choice. Another interesting option could be a Howa mini in 6mm ARC or 6.5 Grendel in a chassis. Or Ruger...
My experience is only with their running/gym shoes but based on that fairly wide. My wife wears their "crossfit" stye shoe and loves it. She has WIDE feet and struggles to find shoes that fit right, but I think she's also picky as hell but thats just between me, you, and the internet. I tried...
These are the goretex version. Lots of sizes and colors in stock. I paid $16 to ship 3 pairs to MT.

I have a couple accupoint 3-9s and a credo 3-9. They are very different scopes. The scope bodies are completely different. The ocular on the credo is much larger. The Credo is heavier as you mentioned. The eyebox on the accupoint is tighter too. I like both scopes but would pick the Credo for a...
I know new Remingtons are a crap shoot but all the new .243 models are listed as having a 1:8" twist. I'm looking for a bolt gun with irons. A 700 BDL in .243 is a little more appealing if the barrel is 1:8.
Anyone able to confirm the twist on a newer 700 in .243?
Drive BLM/FS roads through the sage and lower country at night. Then hunt the areas where you find dense concentrations of rabbits. A few years back we were hunting elk late season west of Burns and drove through some BLM that was covered in rabbits. We'd drive through before first light on the...
