    I have the Kowa 6x30 & 8x30 porros for my kids. I dont know if they were made by communists, but I would put them up against any $500 (and some more expensive) roofs any day of the week.

    Im halfway thru "Mule Deer Country" by Valerius Geist. I really like it! What should I read next after this one? I'm thinking I might prefer something older like "field notes" by Saxton Pope, or something like that.
