Utah 2024 Draw Thread
We used to call the Utah general elk tags OTC. They sell out quick enough while they are technically OTC they move in that first day. Maybe look at setting up an online account and buying a couple of those if you want to hunt Utah particular. If not, I hear Colorado's nice that time of year. -

How much does grain weight affect trajectory

wyoming antelope hunt...? no points, non res.
It's a lot easier to get a tag near private lands. The north east seems to be the easiest but I haven't hunted there. Unfortunately areas that I have hunted took a really hard hit last winter and tags are still hard to come by across most of the state. -

FFP scopes
I'm not a fan of the lrhs ring either. I went back to SFP just to use the credo reticle on a few rifles that don't absolutely need FFP. Not sure why they don't put it in FFP with a few sizing adjustments. -

I hate the busy tree reticles. Simple mil dot like SWFA works for me. I know how to dial elevation and can use the mil dot on the horizontal for windage. So far, the swfa 3-15 FFP is useable for me. Other brands get too fat in the reticle on high power or too cluttered. I wish someone... -

Full disclosure, I'm an idiot and can't read. I've been laid up for a while and on a lot of pills so I did not see that said LITE. My brain was wondering why i placed in order in 2023 to receive the stock in 2025. Im perfectly content to wait a few months on what I ordered.
