I'm just trying to get an idea of fair value for the following two bows that I'm interested in selling.
New in box 2016 Hoyt Defiant aluminum 28-30" 60-70lb.
Used in good condition 2016 Hoyt Defiant 34 aluminum 28-30" 60-70#. Restrung earlier this year.
Both bare bow...
Highly recommend reading the reviews on each at Game & Trail Camera Reviews - Trail Cam Buying Guides-Trailcampro.com. Excellent information.

I've got a Garmin Oregon 600 and an OnX Maps chip but the basemap image resolution is terrible. Any good resources on how to download and view better basemaps?
Thanks in advance.
There is an annual naked bike ride in Portland. I used to drive a cab and I got stuck in it a few times. Yeah there were a lot of floppy cocks in the mix, but I tell you what the ladies were out and about and shaking in all over. Not the worst thing in the world.

I really want to start being my own bow mechanic. Is there a single resource (book, DVD, ect) that I should pick up to start learning?

I shoot the Fast Eddie XL, and have a tight spot quiver. I like it a lot, but I couldn't use the Hogg Knob with the mounting bracket on my quiver without doing a tiny bit of machining. Not a big deal, and I know lots of guys who run them with no issues. For me, that's my only complaint.

I live in my Kanab pants and a llano qz in hot weather. The Kanab pants are not hot imo, but I haven't tried the corrugate pants. I avoid synthetics. My only warning would be that if you ever get into spines or other pokey brush, the pants offer little protection. I have never torn mine, but I'd...
Was pretty sold on a Hammock Gear Econ 0. Then I hesitated on a down bag because I live in Oregon and hunt where it rains 25 hours a day, 366 days a year.
I also hesitated on a quilt once I saw the bags that have no bottom insulation and a little sleeve for your pad to go in.
And I was going...
Don't overestimate merino in hot weather. I wear First Lite head to toe in 80 degree weather and it treats me great. I also avoid synthetics at nearly any cost because if I wear a synthetic shirt for even one day, I stink terribly. I can wear the same merino shirt for three or four days before I...
I was at the range yesterday shooting at 20 yards. My point of impact was about 1" low and 1" right very consistently.
I started shooting the edge of the target to check windage, and my impact was dead on.
I then shot at the top of the paper to check elevation. Also dead on.
Then I went...
Thanks 92xj. I have a pretty high quality dehydrator and it goes up to 160, and recommends setting it to that temp.
Question though. I put it in there at 6pm. It says 4-12 hours depending on thickness. This stuff is pretty thick (roughly 1/4-3/8"). Is there a risk of over-cooking? I'm planning...
As the title says, do I really need to add nitrates when making jerky? I prefer to avoid eating them, and we don't let our kids eat any at all.
If I'm making small batches that will be eaten in a few weeks is there any risk of spoilage?

Need to organize all the loose gear in my pack. Looking at the Kifaru Ultralight Pullouts, but I'm not aware of many alternatives.
First question is are these at all durable? Second is, what else should I consider? Thirdly, how did you decide what sizes to order?
