    I owned an Eberlestock Skycrane. It was really heavy, and not comfortable to carry with heavy loads. I sold it and got a Seek Outside Brooks, which I love.

    I have a Kowa 553. Optics are very good. It's a great lightweight scope. (you can save even more weight by pairing it with an ultralight tripod.)

    Range finder

    Sig Kilo 2400 Ranges well out to 1000 yards, which is probably more than I would ever shoot while hunting. The integrated ballistics program works well and gives me accurate information for adjusting my scope for range.

    I looked at the jacket online, but didn't buy it. I've already got several wool tops I like a lot, so I resisted the urge to purchase it. I agree it looks very nice. There's actually a couple of jackets, one more like a softshell, and one more like a jacket.
