Nothern California (Trinity Alps) optics: should I upgrade my Leica Trinovid 10x42 to a higher magnification binos, if used with a spotting scope?
This is the way. I've got a nice, lightweight spotter that I take with me, but it almost always ends up staying in the truck in favor of the fancy 10x binos on a tripod. I’ve done quite a few animals with the gutless method, and a trick I use to get the tenderloins out is that at the very end when you are getting them out, roll the carcass so it’s spine up, stomach down (how it would look standing up), and then make your incisions.
