    Need HELP Choosing Ammunition

Definitely don’t use the same bullet for both. Yes one will do it but the performance won’t be there for the whitetail. I recommend the Winchester ballistic silvertip for whitetail and the accubond for moose. Problem I have is some of my rifles don’t like certain bullets so buying different...

Buy once cry once shotgun for water fowl

Love benelli ! No need for a super black eagle unless you really want to shoot 3.5inch rounds. Today’s loads there is no need. So I would go with the M2 and save the money for good shotgun shells.

Pac Boots vs Other for warmth?

Guess it depends how cold of weather will you be in? Personally my feet sweat really easy so regardless my feet will get cold. Pack boots are really bulky so If you have sweat issues I would go with a 400 gram and use merino socks in whatever thickness to help with cold weather.

Vortex scope not quite what i thought?

No question they will fix or send an new one but man are they junk. They are cheaply made and that’s why they can do that. Leupold, or zeiss you can’t beat the quality or clarity .

Is this gun upgrade worth it?

You’re welcome! No I have no problem as all my years of hunting I only had to take one follow up shot on a moose. I lift my head up anyway after i shoot so I don’t have a problem cycling another round while watching the animal. All this comes with practice. I do own lefthand rifles and they are...

    Ammo for 25-06, 30-06 and 270

I’m a big fan of the Winchester supreme ballistic tip 168 grain for deer and elk. Problem not all rifles shoot the same with different ammo.

    What gun to choose?

Wow lucky you! That’s a tough choice. I’m a 30-06 fan . Cant go wrong with it.

    Dedicated Elk rifle??

Well well if it was my choice the 30-06 shooting 168 grain is excellent. I have guns that dont like certain bullets so you will have to experiment.

    $500 budget for 10x42 Binos

Meopta is a good choice also leupold bx4 . Please for the love of good stay away from vortex! Don’t let the “warranty” or the celebrity hunters steer you that way. Remember they are paid big money to use them and say they are good. Also they give incentives to push their product.
